What a piece of junk! The "author" is shamelessly exploiting readers' love of the dogs to create this so called book. Shame on you, J. L. Williams, whoever you are!
I love this little book. I bought it because I love Pugs and I love all flat nosed dogs. I have a Boston Terrier and my sister and her daughter both have Pugs. I love the rhyme and love the pictures. I will recommend it to all my friends and their children because the message to ask an adult before petting a new four legged friend makes encounters with dogs safe for everyone. Uggie is darling!! My only criticism of the book is it is just too darned short.
This was an easy read & had very good, real information. The book has nice pictures too! We love Uggie!

My boys love Don't Pet the Pug! The rhyming engages them and they adore the photos. They are having fun while learning how to approach dogs in the neighborhood. I have it on my phone so we can read it anywhere. Educational and cute. I highly recommend it.
This is so adorable. i am so happy I got it. The only bad thing is it is short. That is ok as we love Uggy. Maybe one day there can be a book about Uggy and his friend Paloma.
